A minimum two person, volunteer team, using its own vehicle, patrols the townsite and reports unusual or suspicious activity to the officers on duty. The patrol shifts are flexible. Each member determines the time and duration of individual tours.
THE ROLE OF C.O.P.
· to provide a presence in the community through patrolling
· to act as extra eyes and ears
· to observe, record and report suspicious activities
· to participate in community events that promote safety and awareness

Citizens On Patrol (C.O.P.) is a volunteer organization from your community. Members of COP patrol the neighbourhoods of Irma, Wainwright and Fabyan any day and at any time. COP are extra eyes and ears, working alongside the RCMP to help make our communities safe and trouble free.
